About Me
Sal spent over twenty years working in media and tech, including long stints at the Guardian, and Japanese tech giants, Rakuten, where she ran teams and built global partnerships with brands including UNICEF, FC Barcelona and O2.

In 2020, Sal chose to leave her corporate career behind and retrain in business sustainability with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership (Cambridge University), shortly followed by certifications in GRI Impact Reporting and Carbon Management. Since then she has gone on to study Life Cycle Assessment with University College London, and product carbon footprinting with GHG Protocol, and in 2021 trained with B Lab UK to be a B Leader.
Sal is a strategic thinker who has spent her career identifying, developing and delivering successful solutions across multiple channels, business types and geographies. She enjoys engaging all stakeholder groups to uncover strategic opportunities that drive sustainable revenue and growth, whilst reducing any negative social and environmental impact. She is especially passionate about business model innovation and utilising circular economy strategies for change.
